Hello!

Layan is from Kuwait born and raised. Throughout her life, she was educated at a British school, and later on, an American school, both located in Kuwait. She currently is a student at the Pratt Institute in New York City, with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design. She has been creating and designing for 7 years—during which she has taken AP Studio Art during her high school senior year, a summer Product Design Program at Parsons, and a bachelors degree in Graphic Design. Ever since she was a little girl she has been involved with the arts – dancing, piano, art, and now design. She continues to seek out experiences and learn from her successes and failures.

Now, she is going into her second year of being at the Pratt Institute, studying Communications Design for her masters, under a full scholarship. She is now ready to intern and to learn more.

Her experiences, living in drastically different cities across the world reflects through her work. She has displayed her work on this website to show what she has completed throughout her years in New York City.
